Natural gum size made to a traditional recipe. This medium is best suited to small areas. For very detailed work you may need two applications, especially if the paper is absorbent. Raised areas can be achieved by building up several layers, allowing each layer to dry. Reactivate gum by breathing on it, press gold onto the tacky gum, wait 2-3 mins, before burnishing. Do not burnish directly onto the gold, use glassine paper between the gold and agate. Wash your brush/pen immediuately in hot water as the gum will set hard.
